Scope of Service
- Send each patient a BP Cuff, and Scale
- Patient receives a kit with video tablet and 2 blue-tooth peripherals*
- Data feeds to a weekday 9-5 monitoring team
- Monitoring team spends 20 minutes/month interacting with patients
- Monthly letters, weekly text/e-mail
Cost: $600-800 per patient per pregnancy
Pros and Cons
- Pros: video interface with caregivers, multiple peripherals, nurse involvement to ask questions and identify problems early
- Cons: more costly, requires some patient tech capability for BT
