No, when you take your blood pressure, you’ll be able to see the results on the screen, but they are also immediately sent via the Cell Service that’s built into the cuff to your Health Care Team for monitoring.

Your medical provider has partnered with BlueStar Telehealth on a program to provide their patients with remote patient management. This gives them the ability to monitor certain aspects of your health from your own home and prevent trips to the emergency room.

You have met all the requirements and your medical provider has identified you as a legible patient to enroll in a remote monitoring program. This program will focus on preventive care.

Depending on your healthcare insurance, it may be free to you, or you may have a small co-pay of up to about $18 per month or until you’ve met your deductible. Please contact your clinic for more information.

You will use that cuff to take your blood pressure at least 5 times a week. The monitoring team will be calling you to check in. You might have a different care plan by your provider’s orders, our team will talk to you about it. We strongly recommend you to add the number (800) 441-0730 to your phone as a contact, that way you know who is calling you!

You are free to disenroll from the program at any time. There’s no obligation on your part—you can quit any time you want. Give us a call and we will send you a return label to your house to send the device back.
